Die Beitr\u00e4ge der alten Seite berlin.urbansketchers.org wurden hier hin \u00fcbertragen. Der Blog mit zurzeit deutlich \u00fcber 1000 Beitr\u00e4gen wird hier mit zeitgem\u00e4\u00dfer Technik fortgef\u00fchrt. Die festen Autoren des Blogs berichten mit vor Ort gemachten Zeichnungen und in der Tradition der auf dem Internationalen Blog der Urban Sketcher eingef\u00fchrten reportageartigen Beitr\u00e4gen vom Leben in Berlin und Umgebung.<\/a><\/p>\n

Der Blog erg\u00e4nzt das aktuelle Internetangebot der Berliner Urban Sketcher. W\u00e4hrend unsere Facebook-Gruppe der sozialen Interaktion, dem unverbindlichen Austausch einzelner Zeichnungen und der Organisation von Treffen dient, erlaubt das Blog-Format ausf\u00fchrliches Erz\u00e4hlen mit Zeichnungen und Text. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf unserer Stadt Berlin und Umgebung, ein eigener ‚Neben-Blog‘ erlaubt auch gelegentliche Beitr\u00e4ge der Autoren, die auf Reisen im Urban-Sketchers-Kontext entstanden sind.<\/a><\/p>\n

Unter dem Menu-Punkt ‚mitmachen‘ werden unsere Angebote zur Teilnahme an unserer Gruppe erkl\u00e4rt<\/a>. Dabei wird nat\u00fcrlich auch auf unsere Facebook-Gruppe als erste unverbindliche Anlaufstelle verwiesen.<\/p>\n

Ein Formular erlaubt es jedem Zeichner, in Berlin entstandene Blog-Beitr\u00e4ge, die dem Urban Sketcher Manifest entsprechen, einzureichen, die dann von den Admins gepr\u00fcft und in unserem Blog ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden. (Feste Autoren nutzen dieses Formular nicht, sondern ver\u00f6ffentlichen ihre Beitr\u00e4ge direkt aus dem mit ihren Log-In Daten aufrufbaren Profil).<\/p>\n

[Aktualisierung 19.03.2023:] Unter ‚zeichentreffen‘ werden Treffen zu gemeinsamen Zeichnen angek\u00fcndigt.<\/a> Unten auf der Seite besteht die M\u00f6glickeit, E-Mail-Benachrichtigungen zu neuen Treffen zu abonnieren.<\/p>\n

Geschichte<\/h2>\n

Die Berliner Urban Sketcher Gruppe startete im Dezember 2010 als Blog. Vier Berliner Zeichner, Catalina<\/a>, Olga<\/a>, Oona<\/a> und Rolf trafen sich und beschlossen, bei der Internationalen Dachorganisation der Urban Sketcher die Gr\u00fcndung eines ‚Regional Chapters‘ zu beantragen. Daraufhin bekamen wir einen \u201aschl\u00fcsselfertigen\u2018 Blog mit der URL berlin.urbansketchers.org und einem Welcome-Post und begannen zu bloggen. Seither sind wir auch ein ‚offizielles Chapter‘ des Urban Sketchers Netzwerkes.<\/p>\n

Der Blog war in den folgenden Jahren die Plattform, auf der die wachsende Gruppe ihre Zeichnungen zeigte. Parallel wurden Zeichentreffen, und gelegentlich auch ambitioniertere Events wie Ausstellungen und Beteiligungen an kommunalen Veranstaltungen \u00fcber eine Mailing-Gruppe organisiert. 2017 kam die Facebook-Gruppe dazu, die eine direkte Interaktion der Mitglieder erm\u00f6glichte.<\/p>\n

Der Blog wurde parallel weiter betrieben \u2013 anders als die vom Format eingeschr\u00e4nkten Ver\u00f6ffentlichungsm\u00f6glichkeiten auf Facebook erlaubt ein Blog eine ausf\u00fchrlichere, narrative Form des grafischen Erz\u00e4hlens, wie sie auch der internationale Blog unter urbansketchers.org eingef\u00fchrt und praktiziert hat.<\/a><\/p>\n

Entstehung des neuen Blogs<\/h2>\n

Als 2021 der internationale Blog urbansketchers.org umstrukturiert wurde, wurden auch die SSL-Zertifikate der Subdomains, wie\u00a0 unser Blog berlin.urbansketchers.org nicht mehr gepflegt, sodass der nur noch schwer und schlie\u00dflich gar nicht mehr abrufbar war.<\/p>\n

Da die begrenzten M\u00f6glichkeiten der Plattform ‚Blogger‘ und die technische Abh\u00e4ngigkeit von der fernen Dachorganisation einer flexiblen Umgestaltung unseres in die Jahre gekommenen Blogs im Weg standen, haben wir uns 2022 dazu entschlossen, einen neuen Blog unter der nun selbst verwalteten URL berlinusk.org aufzusetzen und die Inhalte der alten Website dorthin zu \u00fcbertragen. Die Umgestaltung haben Enno Peter<\/a>, Urban Sketcher und Fachmann f\u00fcr WordPress und Marketing, als technischer und organisatorischer Berater und Rolf Schr\u00f6ter<\/a>, ebenfalls Urban Sketcher und seit Anfang ein Administrator des Berliner Blogs, durchgef\u00fchrt. Wir administrieren auch zusammen den aktuellen Blog.<\/p>\n

The Berlin Urban Sketchers Blog<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

This is the new blog of the Berlin Urban Sketchers group. It continues the group’s blog that has existed since December 2010 on a new, now self-managed URL.<\/em><\/p>\n

Functions of the blog<\/em><\/h2>\n

The posts of the old site berlin.urbansketchers.org were transferred here. The blog with currently well over 1000 posts is continued here with contemporary technology. The blog’s regular authors report on life in Berlin and the surrounding area with drawings made on site and in the tradition of the reportage-like contributions introduced on the International Urban Sketchers Blog.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

The blog complements the current Internet offerings of the Berlin Urban Sketcher. While our Facebook group is for social interaction, casual sharing of individual drawings, and organizing meetings, the blog format allows for\u00a0elaborate storytelling with drawings and text. The focus is on our city of Berlin and the surrounding area, a separate ’side blog‘ also allows for occasional contributions by the authors that were created while traveling in the Urban Sketchers context.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Under the menu item ‚mitmachen | join‘ our offers to participate in our group are explained.<\/a> Of course, this also refers to our Facebook group as the first non-committal point of contact.<\/em><\/p>\n

A form allows any sketcher to submit blog posts created in Berlin that conform to the Urban Sketcher Manifesto, which will then be reviewed by the admins and published on our blog. (Permanent authors do not use this form, but publish their contributions directly from the profile accessible with their log-in data).<\/em><\/p>\n

[Upgrade 19.03.2023] On the page ‚zeichentreffen‘ drawing meetups are announced.<\/a> On the bottom of this page it is possible to subscribe to e-mail-notifications for newly announced meetups.<\/i><\/p>\n

History<\/em><\/h2>\n

The Berlin Urban Sketcher group started as a blog in December 2010. Four Berlin sketchers, Catalina<\/a>, Olga<\/a>, Oona<\/a> and Rolf met and decided to apply to the international umbrella organization of Urban Sketcher to establish a ‚Regional Chapter‘. As a result we got a ‚turnkey‘ blog with the URL berlin.urbansketchers.org and a welcome post and started blogging. Since then we are also an ‚official chapter‘ of the Urban Sketchers network.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the following years, the blog was the platform where the growing group showed their drawings. In parallel, drawing meetings, and occasionally more ambitious events such as exhibitions and participation in community events were organized via a mailing group. In 2017, the Facebook group was added, which allowed direct interaction among members.<\/em><\/p>\n

The blog continued to operate in parallel – unlike the format-limited publishing options on Facebook, a blog allows for a more detailed, narrative form of graphic storytelling, as introduced and practiced by the international blog at urbansketchers.org.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Creation of the new blog<\/em><\/h2>\n

When the international blog urbansketchers.org was restructured in 2021, the SSL certificates of the subdomains, such as our blog berlin.urbansketchers.org, were also no longer maintained, so that the was only difficult and eventually no longer accessible.<\/em><\/p>\n

Since the limited possibilities of the platform ‚Blogger‘ and the technical dependence on the distant umbrella organization stood in the way of a flexible redesign of our aging blog, we decided in 2022 to set up a new blog under the now self-managed URL berlinusk.org and to transfer the content of the old website there. The redesign was done by Enno Peter<\/a>, Urban Sketcher and expert for WordPress and marketing, as technical and organizational consultant and Rolf Schr\u00f6ter<\/a>, also Urban Sketcher and an administrator of the Berlin Blog since the beginning. We also administer the current blog together.<\/em><\/p>\n
