This building with its protruding balconies and the interesting corner treatment appealed to me. It looks like a typical 1930s building with influences from the Bauhaus, but I am no architect.
You can clearly see the marked bike path which runs along the side walk on both sides of the street. I have been biking a lot here. Berlin is nice and flat, unlike Vancouver, and often has these designated bike lanes as part of the sidewalk.
